The DVH-P435UB plays most popular audio formats, and allows watching DVDs in your car. To view them, install a screen in the seat headrests, for example.
Connecting your iPod/iPhone is super convenient thanks to iPod Direct which lets you control the device from the unit itself (requires optional cable). Videos will be displayed, too.
DVD-Video, DVD-R, DVD-RW and Video CD are supported, as well as CD, CD-R and CD-RW.
The system will also play MP3, WMA, AAC, JPEG and DivX files from DVD or USB when you connect a memory device to the front USB slot.
Or connect a portable device via the front aux-in.
With 2 additional video ins, 1 video out and 2 RCA pre-outs you can easily build your in-car multimedia setup.
Front USB Connection
Take your favourite MP3, WMA, AAC, JPEG and DivX files for a ride. The DVH-335UB has a front high-speed 2.0 USB (direct) interface to connect a USB memory device so you can play in your car whatever you have recorded via PC. It's fast and easy. No adapters required.
Front Aux-In Connection
The music connectivity extends beyond USB. Hook up your portable digital devices with ease. Each new Pioneer head unit has a built-in AUX input on the front panel so you can connect your iPod, MP3 player and other portable music devices.
Advanced Sound Retriever
Hear the glory of original sound across a deeper, wider spectrum from highly compressed MP3 and WMA files stored on a USB memory device. By compensating for data (especially higher frequencies) that tend to get lost in the digital compression process, Pioneer's Advanced Sound Retriever technology enhances audio reproduction nearly all the way up to 20kHz frequencies.
Built in 50Wx4 Channel High-Power MOSFET Amplifer
To minimize voltage loss in its head unit amplifiers, Pioneer built-in high-performance Power MOSFET integrated circuitry into all its head units. The MOSFET amplifier processes signals more efficiently at 50W x 4 maximum total output. This reduces distortion to virtually nothing at high frequency ranges giving you great clear sound.
DivX® is the world’s most popular high-compression digital video format and does not appreciably compromise movie picture quality. Simply burn a movie from a PC onto a long-playing Video CD, DVD and USB, then play that disc/USB stick in a Pioneer AV head unit to gain a new appreciation of in-car theatre.
MP3/WMA/AAC Playback on DVD
MP3 playback of MP3/WMA music files burned on DVD opens up an intriguing possibility: capacity to store your entire album collection on just one or two discs, without external connections! The capacity of a 4.7 GB DVD disc to store up to around 100 hours of audio (equivalent to approximately 1 000 songs, or 100 full pre-recorded CDs), after all, far surpasses that of a typical CD.
Wired Remote Control Input
Since entertainment shouldn't compromise driving safety, Pioneer engineered this feature for cars with factory-equipped remote control installed on the steering wheel to give drivers more convenient control of a Pioneer head unit without having to take their hands off the wheel (Optional adapter required, speak to your local Pioneer dealer for more information on these).
Wireless Remote Control
Hand over control of the music to those in the back seat.
